Our goal is to provide vacation rental property owners and managers with easy and affordable ways to fill vacancies, take payments and manage reservations.
History of Business:
The idea for My Vacation Rental Site was formed when David Lampe and Tom Grant noticed that many of the advertisers on the Global Vacation Rental Listings site had very poorly designed Web sites. They were frequently hard to use and didn't include availability calendars or even simple inquiry forms. They realized that available reservations and guest management software was too expensive for most property management companies. As Web site design professionals, they realized that custom-developed Web sites could also become expensive. They decided a "do-it-yourself" option could keep costs down and still provide clients with powerful reservations and guest management tools, as well as easy-to-use, well-designed Web sites.

My Vacation Rental Site makes it easy and affordable for vacation rental property owners and managers to build their own Web site, attract guests, and manage reservations and payments. It works for one property or one thousand.
My VR Site includes all the features guests want. Guests can view images of rental properties, send inquiries and even make and pay for reservations.
Owners and manager use the system to confirm reservations, answer inquiries, accept payments and communicate with guests.
Future Goals/Direction of the Business:
During the past year, we have slowly built our business so we could get to know our customers well and learn all we could about their needs and goals. Now that we have gotten to know our clients, we are implementing many of their suggestions and are expanding our sales and marketing efforts. We expect to grow quickly during the next couple years and look forward to adding more new features and helping more owners and managers wake up to reservations.
